📜 Complete Constitution

The Mudasia Welfare Group is governed by these 13 articles.

The group shall be known as Mudasia Welfare Group.

Motto: "Unity, Support and Progress".

To promote unity, provide financial assistance, support during emergencies, encourage saving culture, and undertake welfare activities.

Membership is open to all who subscribe to the group's values. Registration fee: KES 100 (one-time). Monthly contribution: KES 200.

Each member shall contribute KES 200 monthly by the 5th of every month. Late payments attract a fine as determined by the committee.

Leadership comprises Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Welfare Coordinator. Elected annually.

Officials perform duties as defined in the group by-laws, ensuring transparency and member welfare.

Monthly general meetings every last Saturday. Annual General Meeting (AGM) held every December.

Benefits include: Emergency aid (up to KES 10,000), funeral support (KES 20,000), interest-free loans, and medical assistance.

All funds are banked in a group account. Quarterly audits conducted and shared with members.

Disciplinary action for violation of rules including warnings, fines, or expulsion after due process.

Amendments require two-thirds majority vote during AGM.

Dissolution requires 75% members' consent. Remaining assets go to registered charity.

Contribution Structure

  • Registration Fee: KES 100 (one-time)

  • Welfare Fund: 70% of monthly contributions
  • Administrative Fund: 20% of monthly contributions
  • Emergency Reserve: 10% of monthly contributions
